HOUND CLUB 2009/10

The Bicester and Whaddon Chase Hound Club will hold meets for hound exercise and line hunting from early September to March. There will be at least three meets per week. It is intended that autumn meets will commence in early September 2007 while meets from November will be at 11 am. Most rides will be of two or more  hours duration.

HOUND CLUB ARRANGEMENTS

Hound Club Membership Subscriptions (2009/10)

*One day a week (excluding Saturdays)

*Full subscription (Priority will be given on Saturdays to full subscribers)

*Family subscription

There will be a limit of 90 Subscribers who can attend Saturday Hound Club Meets

Junior Subscribers (between 18 and 24 years)-half the subscriptions

Children 17 years and under £15 for each meet attended

Children 13 years and under £10 for each meet attended but must be accompanied by an adult

Farmers in the Bicester with Whaddon Chase area are deemed automatically to be Members of the Hound Club.

Non Riding Members who wish to support the Hound Club are invited to pay an annual minimum subscription of £50.

Visitors may only attend a meet by the invitation of a Full Subscriber of Farmer and must contact the Secretary in regard to availability.

There will be Meets designated to “Newcomers” when no charge will be made to those attending a meet for the first time.

Meets will commence in September 2009. The time of such meets will be available from the Secretary nearer the date. Dress will be tweed jacket with a tie. From November meets will be at 11am when Subscribers should normally dress tidily in "Ratcatcher" i.e. tweed jacket (black coats can be worn in adverse weather) and stocks to be worn (rather than collar and tie as during Autumn Hound Exercise). The Joint Masters would like to encourage those with black hunt buttons to wear them on their tweed coats.
