Supporters Club

In response to the Hunting Act, the Bicester Hunt with Whaddon Chase formed a Hound Club to take over the activities of the Hunt within the new law.

In 1954 The Whaddon Chasers was the first hunt supporters club. This was followed in 1963 by the Bicester & Warden Hill Hunt Supporters Club. After the amalgamation of both hunts in 1986 the Bicester and Whaddon Chasers Supporters Club has gone from strength to strength.

Singing at the hunt Carol Service at Stratton Audley in the period before Christmas is a highlight. Other functions include: dances, skittles matches, hunt breakfasts, inter-hunt quizzes, summer garden evenings and an open day at the kennels in June.

The club raises substantial funds each year and supports the hunt either by donating cash or purchasing vehicles & horses.

Activities

The singing at the Hunt Carol Service at Stratton Audley in the run up to Christmas is one of our Hunt’s highlights of the year; and by holding other such diverse social functions as dances, skittles matches, hunting breakfasts, inter-hunt quizzes, and summer garden evenings together with the Open Day at the Hunt Kennels in June.

The Bicester and Whaddon Chase would like to thank Adi Bull for supplying these wonderful photographs. Copies will be available to purchase at the Hunt Open Day.
